Iv had a really hard 14months in work. An iv 2 days off in all that time. The boss has told me i must take at least a week off in November. So im going to have a little hol for me the missus and the daughter.

Dont want to fly to far, so not out of europe. but where is still hot then. Im looking at Furteventura but not sure. Any one got any good idears?

Must be hot so we can play in the pool. And not full of bueats on drugs all night?

well I've been to Tunisia years ago and where we were was purpose built for tourists really, so just the same as being in a hotel complex anywhere, we stayed in a 5* hotel for feck all, no probs with food or anything, we went in may and it was stupidly hot.
I got off the plane and went straight to Wembley for the 89 final.

maybe off on a tangent here but me and the mrs had a canal boat holiday last October and it was brilliant... its a floating pub crawl with some fishing thrown in. What's not to like? Even if its cold, get one with a log fire.... awesome holiday.

Me an the Missus would probably love that. But not sure the little'un would be that happy. Looking at the canaries again.

When I read the thread title I had a horrible feeling you were going to say you were looking at the last week in October.

Can't recommend Alicante in November. It's not really cold but not pool weather. Not for the little one anyway

Great news iv booked Gran Canaria, Puerto Rico. Leave in 7 days. And it's still red hot there. Cant wait. needed this break for a while now.

Euro in Canaries, I go to Fuerte every year, spot of surfing, gauranteed weather and less than 4 hour flight. Cost of the Euro has made things expensive however so spending double what I used to, lot of people going all inclusive now to get VFM.

Don't go to Cyprus in Nov...it pisses down most days - I'd go for somewhere like Eilat in Israel or maybe sharm-el-Sheik or Taba in Egypt - Great snorkelling n stuff

TBH mate i have to prove myself after a few mistermeaner's in the past. But i have a really good work ethic, an love my job.

As for the Hol, was going to wait till Novermber. But next week it is....
