we used to start collecting wood in September ffs.

Any 'bombdie' was fair game for your stash. It was guarded with your life.

doors, fences, anything really that we could burn, was fair game.

Sneaky raids on other gangs stashes, 10 or so of us legging it down the street with a door each.

Dressing your mate up as a guy and sitting off by the shop all night, cadging money for sweets (or 10 b&h!!)


kids these days.... Meh.

Don't see any of that these days to be fair.

We used to go knocking at peoples houses for anything they wanted to get rid of (and take anything that was left in the front or side of the house).

As a responsible parent, I will be encouraging my son to engage in this behaviour once he is older or risk being shunned by the rest of the Boss Blue household.

The MDF used building sets at the everyman for years probably did me more harm than that tbh.

It's as if Bonfire Night is a 2-3 week celebration in East London.

Was (genuinely) really nice going for a run in the dark on bonfire night, a calming haze.
