Its 2011 lads, we are past the Chris Eagles, Joey Barton stage, need to set our sights a little higher these days............

The two players mentioned , Eagles and Tyrone mears would not improve our team greatly , having said that to say we need to be setting our standards higher is funny , the only way we can do this is by bringing better players through like Barkley , in terms of buying players though we are not able to set our standards higher because Bill Kenwright spends nothing on transfers

I didn't really give a **** about Tyrone Mears but a lot people did want Eagles here not too long ago, I was just making a point that 2 players were going for a combined fee of 3mil which would suggest that Eagles would be available for next to nothing. Personally I don't know enough about him
