When i seen the thread title i was expecting to open the post and see someone has made a roll of toilet paper from Fat Sam's face on
 
T by the way whatever happened to the "worn" areas in the penalty box's, the pitch always looked great unto about late October time then would degenerate rapidly, blooming pitches these days look as good for the last game of the season as the openerlol

I guess pitches get a lot less use these days. Hardly used for anything but first team fixtures which, as we hardly get a decent cup run anymore, amounts to little more than than 2 dozen games a season?

The pitch is a bit like Rooney’s hair and has a synthetic weave through it these days. It stops it breaking up so much.
