Sharpys top lip

Player Valuation: £60m
Just been on Radio City that the BNP dont want to upset Everton fans so they have fukked the march off on the Saturday. It's now up to police if the game with Stoke can be moved back to Saturday now.

Good news...

1. Saturday 3 bells game

2. Then nobheads not in our city!!

Why didnt the police just ask them in the first place to postpone it because of the match?

Someone must have told them that their march is going to move a million pound game to Sunday and [Poor language removed] 30+ thousand fans so that they changed their minds about it?

Fuucking joke the Merseyside police are. Like someone said, it would never have happened if it was a RS home game.

I think it's been this: the BNP have asked for that date unaware of the football clash. Merseyside Police have agreed to it knowing the furore it would provoke from more then the usual suspects of trade unionists and the left wing groups (ie tens of thousands of blues) and the BNP have been thick enought to fall for it. Now they look like the cave in merchants they are for having backed down in the face of all that pressure. Job done as far as Merseyside Police and anti-fascism is concerned, but Everton supporters have been fcuked around.

So let me get this clear: the police forced an event from the top level of 1 of the biggest industries in the world to be changed because a political group want to do a protest, inconveniencing the best part of 40,000 people, some of which had arranged to travel from all over the world to get to & now because the fans are rightly fuming, the political group have agreed to bin their protest?

HOW THE **** HAS THIS HAPPENED?

There's one thing that would be the saving grace in all this: if Everton got offered the chance (as looks likely) to change back to Saturday and the club made a statement saying "No thanks. We dont make our plans at the beck and call of the BNP or any other organisation". That'd do more to rehabilitate the name of Everton FC in the eyes of a few people who still choose to paint the club in a poor light on this issue.

I hope they don't switch it back. I've already had to change my (expensive) plans once, to have to again would really take the piss.
