What happened was Damon Albarn made an incredibly long and tedious speech that ate up a load of time. Adele is a working class girl and incredibly talented- she's the real thing (remember them? Scousers- soul/R&B band in the 70s) but it's hard to see through all the bullsh*t that constitutes a modern pop star.

Her talking voice grates me, she should be banned from making speeches. Her music doesn't appeal to me in any way, London and 'the Sarf' seem to be getting way too much music attention at the moment.
