Blue sky thinking

Same here. It does feel like the start of a whole new era. I'm old enough to remember the days when we broke the British transfer record for Bob Latchford. I'm trying not to get too carried away but I think those times might be on their way again.

I remember when we broke the transfer record for the late great Alan Ball. I just hope I live long enough to see this come to fruition. If nothing else just to sèe the Kopites
crawl back under the stones from which they originated

Love the optimistic OP. I agree - the future should be Boss for the Blues.

We want to do sumersaults but we're a cautious breed - been let down on too many occasions to let our guard down.

One thing is for sure though, our future looks brighter than it has in a recent generation. We look to be building solid foundations, both short term and for the future. It'll take some tangible deliverables on and off the pitch to ensure all our hopes are realised....but Everton FC are still magnificent!

This brings back memories 1995 Cup Win .
Coach ride home the driver obviously a big blue made a tape and played it on the way home.(amid the booze &big ciggies)
Elton John...Guess thats why the call it the blues.
Pete Wylie...Story of the Blues.
ELO....Mr Blue sky.
Blue Moon...well before city made it theirs.
Loads of others with anything Blue in it.
Fantastic day....hopefully many more to come....it really has been too long.

today is a big day for Everton. How about we only post positive things in here. Anything less than positive is a thread ban? I've supported us since 74 and can't think of many days when it's become clear the future is so bright. Not a false dawn this time for me.

I like the thought mate, but get real, it's Everton ffs

I was telling my mates (Arsenal fans) that this was the best time to be an Everton Supporter in my lifetime (Born 1995). Genuinely excited for what the future will bring
