Watching this now. I know many will disagree, but hard for me to hate City fans, especially the ones who have suffered so much over the years. I don't deal with them in real life, but as long as they still know where they come from and understand the gift they've been given, I have no problem with them. I'm sure they have some bellends that act like noveau riche, but it's hard for me to hate a fanbase that includes Johnny Marr and Noel Gallagher.

Plus we beat them on the reg. Makes it easier.

They've become what they always hated. Just like the Red Sox became the Yankees, City have become United.

Also, they feel their achievements are every bit as worthy as the success teams worked years to achieve.

Also, for every Johnny Marr there's a Curly Watts. For every Noel Gallagher there's a Liam Gallagher.

I've been bricked and coined at Maine Road in the distant past. They've improved since then though so I can't hate them and I know a few decent Citeh fans but I'm not feeling any man love for them yet.

Sorry JD xxx

Like I said, personal experience can make a difference. This is a good documentary though.

Yep, over the last few years they have turned into everything they used to despise. I know quite a few City fans and some of them you can get some sense out of but most are like Chelsea fans a few years ago nowadays imo. They've got the money, they DESERVE the trophies.

I only interact with one City fan. He's an American and he was City well before the takeover, so I have to give him some respect. He also doesn't act entitled and he likes Everton. Also, through work, I interviewed a guy from Manchester living in Canada last year and he was City, and he liked Everton too and was a sound fella.

So that's all I have to go on.
