On and on, over the hill and the craic is good
Chris McCausland, the blind Liverpool supporting comedian won the final of Strictly tonight. His final dance was to YNWA. What do people think, if anything?

Never really heard of him till this, seen a minute of it weeks and weeks ago, but remarkable and a credit to him and other people who have a disability, that been blind does not put you off anything. I honestly thought when i 1st read about it, how will he know where he is, know what to do etc, as in do the routine's, be in time with whatever the dance things are called etc, and with whoever the other person was

I felt a bit sorry for the other 3 dancers who were so much better but it was obvious from the start he would win and sure they know it to. What he did was a great achievement though regarding his disability
We ran a staff talent show for the kids voting at school for charity. The results were never, ever based on talent - by far the best singer, opera standard, was always voted off first because she was a bit sharp with the kids. The winner was most often the youngest, bubbliest teacher who couldnt play an instrument, just did karaoke and couldn't hold a note to save her life, but was a good teacher and popular with the kids. It was great fun though. (I got to the semis actually playing my guitar and singing depressing folk music - which I was pleased with - just to introduce the little scrotes to a genre I'm sure most have never got to hear).
