Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian
The Unobstructed View
sepp blatter has said that the transfer market is a modern form of slavery and that ushited should allow ronaldo to walk away and join madrid.
this guy is effectively saying that contracts are just bog roll and that they only guarantee the player the said wages, if he fancies more then he can walk away.
surely that means its a 2 way street and should the player not turn out to be the player he was meant to be then the club can open the door as well.......vdm (enough said).
i know in other walks of life you can walk away from an employer but they can also give you the boot for far less than footballers get away with, when a club signs a player they are making a commitment and may also sign others to play in a system based around them, therefore the club are going into a long term arrangement and imo are within their rights to hold onto someone for the agreed period.
i suspect that if it were a real madrid/barca/milan/inter/juve player who wished to walk away to join Everton then mr tw@ter wouldnt even be considering opening his facial anus to spout his usual shoite.
