haha we are all members of Crackberry.com.

Yeah read all the reviews on the Torch, got a few more months to go before upgrade yet tho. Might be summet else out for then...

Im upgrading my phone atm. Have cancelled my current contract (ends on 27th) and have been looking at an N8 or Desire HD. I mainly use my phone for txting and browsing, plus taking pics on hols and listening music on public transport.

Matt what's the browsing like on the Torch? Had a quick look at it before but wasn't super keen.

I'm loving the look of the camara on the N8, and some of the specs (16gb mem, hdd output etc) but heard some bad reports about conectivity/browsing and freezes? Anyone used one of those? Desire HD also looks pretty awesome, but mem and camara don't seem as good?

I have been a Crackberry user for around 2 years now. Best resource on the web for all things BB.

Who is everyone with here? I work in Japan for times of the year and as you can imagine its really expensive. One of the reasons I got a BB was for business and I could get email anywhere etc etc. However o2 stopped doing the bolt on for unlimited use abroad which was terrible for me, what was even worse is they stuck a limit on how much data I could use. Even if I wanted to pay for what use I used I couldnt. When my data got to £40 they barred data, they didnt ring and ask for payment, just barred it. I had to wait till I got home to unbar it, was pretty ****ty really. I have a credit limit of £1000 according to my statements! I am with o2 through Carphonewarehouse though. just wondering what everyone else is using and what plans they have for when abroad?

I'm with AT&T here in the states. They offer international packages pretty inexpensively.

Hi Waddy- this was introduced primarily because of bill shock (basically too many people hammering their phones on data overseas and claiming they didn't know about the charges (O2 would normally credit back 1st time it happened but got wise in the end) & because as with all unlimited use a minority took the piss and were overusing data for streaming video via which took all the bandwith at key times so other customers left with a poor browsing experience. Part of it was also an EU directive to protect consumers but O2 extended it worldwide. Your credit limit is for normal calls and is basically to protect against unauthorised use-albeit an average of 12hours delay for call data -so someone could still go to town on internationl calls etc. You can request opening up another limit once you reach the £40 on data- think its between £100 & £200 just a call through at the time you hit the limit and it will be actioned within an hour or so.

My upgrade at end of month, Ive narrowed it down to Desire HD or Galaxy S. N8 is also an outside option at the moment!
