BLACK FRIDAY

There are a couple of deals to be had no doubt. But in hindsight, the way I see it is most of it is cheap rubbish that they couldn't sell any other time of year.

All the top products, if indeed they get discounted at all, get less than 5% off. Simply because they know they're good enough to sell all year round. Boxing Day will no doubt provide sales which are just as good if not better.

Not buying into Black Friday one bit.

I saw today that loads of these scrotes who were scrapping for their crappy, cheap TV's later put them on eBay but no one wants them!:p

I think there's a lot of valid points in there tbh but obviously mainly Amricentric. You just see a load of consumerism obsessed zombies, many of which will brave the horrors of the day in order to be able to buy their kids a present that they wouldn't ordinarily be able to afford, which I empathise with and believe that looking down on them is the whole point of the day. To let people feel that they're better than the materialistic slobs that line up for £10 off an xbox one that they would have been more able to afford much easier if they hadn't taken a day off work to buy, losing a days wage in the process which would have paid for the discount and then some. The bells clamouring for a cheap tv that will be lucky to last until next Black Friday when they already have 2 slightly smaller ones are completely different like
Most of the TVs they fought over in asda and tesco have ended up on eBay!
