Brentford Steve

Player Valuation: £225k
Hi Guys

Sorry if this brings up painful memories of last month but were off to Brum tomorrow. We have sold 2,900 (sold out our advanced order tickets) and are expected to take up to 3,500 with pay on the gate sales for tomorrow's game. I have never been to St Andrews so very excitied. Any brum players to look out for? Up the Bees and the Toffees! (y)

I went the other week. Decent stadium, better than the likes of the JJB, Reebok, Brittania etc in my opinion.

The obvious 'one to watch' would be Hleb, must be a half-decent player to have played for Arsenal and Barcelona. The yard-dog (Zigic) upfront could also be a danger.

Try a chicken curry pie inside the ground if you're feeling peckish.

All the best mate, hope you win.

Zigic.

They're starting to utilise his crazy height -- and there's not much you can do to stop it, as he's just that tall.

Enjoy yourself anyway, and the best of luck.

They've got this one lad called mcfadden, you can't miss him, he'll do someone with a sublime piece of skill then proceed to run/pirouette his way to the corner flag with the ball nut meggin himself twice then slicing it into either row z or the top corner. Apart from that there [Poor language removed]. Good luck mate, hope yers do em!

Yeah i suppose Helb will be half decent if he has been at those clubs. :D

Big players dont really scare a lower league team to be honset, its to be expected the old long ball. If Legge and Osborne are playing we wont get out jumped.... i hope.

Good luck mate.

Ha ha, thanks for the support lads, you may not know but throughout the 90's Brentford and Birmingscum had a fierce rivalry, one which both clubs would say generated some of the best atmospheres they have ever been involved in. When the premieship reshuffled in 95 only 1 team got automatic promotion from League 1. They finished top and we finished second (only Brentford could finished second the year only 1 team goes up) they leap frogged us second to last game of the season, so it will be good to continue the rivalry tomorrow and we owe them a beating.

Dann and Johnson are one of the better CB pairings in the prem. Plus though they don't score many goals they have a knack for coming from behind from a goal or 2 down. Everytime I watch Carr he seems to do well too, not sure how he's doing it at 53 years old.

Hi Guys. Gutted of West London. We played so well and more than matched them. Someone on here mentioned how good their centre halves are but the were pony on Tuesday. They only looked good when Zigic came on and the went more direct, strangely we coped with their probing passes and struggled a bit with the long stuff. Not what you would expect but football is a funny old game, although when Kevin Phillips popped up with 30 SECONDS remaining i wasnt laughing. We took 3,123 and sang all game, it was a great atmosphere and the one of those days when your so proud of your team, im sure you have had many similar experiences, not least this seasons derby. We just lacked a bit of luck, the players were dead on their feet at the end and had nothing in the tank. Things went our way against you guys but lady luck wasnt with us on Tuesday sadly. Brum fans were poor, many left and then returned for extra time. The Chicken Curry pie recommended on here was different gravy, thanks for the tip off. Hardest part was getting to bed at 3AM and then being up at 5.30 to travel down to brighton for 9 AM. That was a killer. Good luck against Stoke on Sat, i reckon your good 3 points. Were away at Exeter. Up the Bees and the Toffees!
