I have been requesting Bilyaletdinov move, specifically up and down the pitch when he is given his most recent last chance.
who cares if were not winning gamesI think this is positive for everyone involved. Unfortunately, Bily has lost 2 and a half of his prime years which is sad but at least in requesting a t'fer he's geting what he wants. Meanwhile, if we could get £6m, say, for a player who hasn't contributed much, that's fantastic IMO. Means we've cut wage costs massively over the last while AND had significant transfer fees coming in.
Surely we must be in better shape financially. Beckford's fee was £4m, Yakubu £1.5m, Arteta £9m (£1m to Real S.), Vaughan 750k up front. If you add Bily to that and if we get roughly a £6m fee, we're talking roughly £20m coming in in the last few months minus the George Green fee. Then consider the fact that Arteta was on £75k, Yakubu between £40-50k, Yobo £50k and surely Beckford and JV were on decent money we're saving over £200k a week minus the wages of Royston and Straq.
