Kenwright promised to back his new manager with a few quid and promised champions league football.

We have wasted £5m on Kone and got a few of Bobby's rejects in and we are playing football like a bottom 3 side would play.

Hate to say it but the Redsh**e would have done something about their chairman's lies and broken promises, why do we sit around and just put up with it? Too many blues mindlessly clap him when he appears on the big screen, as long as we keep accepting his BS the further behind we become. We have had a couple of chances to take top 6 to top 4 and Kenwright won't enable us to do so.

There are people slating Martinez already, but the wrong man is being blamed here.
 

Kone hasn't even played a game's worth of minutes yet ffs.

If the football goes to sh*t, I think Bill will have problems.

did you expect us to play like liverpool and barca ect with the players we have?

BECAUSE JAGIELKA, DISTIN, OSMAN, FELLY CAN PASS ON THE FLOOR CAN'T THEY.

FFS - WE SIGNED ONE PLAYER FROM WIGAN.

Alcaraz was a free transfer Bosman. Robles is a promising young keeper signed from ATHLETICO MADRID - NOT WIGAN. Neither Alcaraz or Robles have even played a game for us yet.

They are not 'rejects'.

This idea that the team is now full of Wigan players is complete and utter nonsense and factually untrue. So sick of people constantly saying this.

The point of the thread if you care to read was Kenwright did NOT fulfil his promises and as a result we don't have the players to play "like liverpool and barca ect"

How many of our 4 signings played for Wigan last year and successfully guided them down a division? I think Rejects is a fair evaluation ;)
 
Kone scored more goals than anyone in our side or Liverpool's (apart from Suarez) last season.

He's played a total of 27 minutes so far this season. To judge him on that is ridiculous.

We've played two games mate. If Kone had came on and scored the winner would you have made this thread? He's had about 30 mins of game time got to give a bit more time before we can make definite observations of what he can offer

The point wasn't how good Kone was, the point was BK has been telling porkies and we sit here like idiots and accept it.

'How many of our 4 signings' - well Deulofeu didn't because he's from Barcelona.

Robles (on loan from Athletico Madrid and initially 3rd choice keeper) played a total of 9 games, one of which was an FA Cup Final vs Man City that he kept a clean sheet in and made several very good, critically acclaimed saves.

Alcaraz missed 3/4 of the season and played a total of 10 games, 2 in August, then was out injured until February.

Kone scored 13 goals in 34 games. To blame him (or any of them) for relegation is ridiculous.
