Bilbao

Spending a couple of days there in couple of weeks time.

Has anyone been, got any tips, recommendations as to things to do and see. Its looking likely that I'll be able to take a game in the San Mames so I've at least something sorted.

Heading to Santander then, I've been before and have an idea of what I might do there but again if anyone's been and has any recommendations it would be much appreciated, cheers.

Once got the ferry to Bilboa. Drove straight out and along the coast to Cantabria where there are some nice beaches.

Also if you have the time and can get there, do try to visit San Sebastian which is probably the nicest city in Spain.

I'll be meeting someone local who is sorting me with tickets. I enjoyed plenty of Sidra in the Asturias region last year, smashing stuff, I'll most likely sample some in Bilbao.

I think I'm going to be going west towards Santander after leaving Bilbao so i don't think I'll get to San Sebastian.
