I once had a 12 fold accumulator lose because we drew with Standard Liege, that was the only result that let me down.
Years ago me and my mate won £1500 in the Casino, the following day we had Blackburn on the opening day of the season. We decided to lash £300 on us to win out of our winnings from the night before and we lost 1-0. I think Howard star jumped over the ball or just fell over for them to score, Everton that.

Anyone ever had a decent win from a bet on us or against us? Anyone had terrible losses because of us?

I had £50 on us to beat Watford against my better judgement. Won't do it again as it makes losing twice as painful.

Never ever bloody ever.I had the same experience Blackburn opening day think we where 8/5 that's how much I remember it.
Putting money on each week at the bookies from when fixtures where announced.won't tell ya how much I lost. But it was gonna pay for Xmas and a holiday.
Never again.

Lost betting on us too many times but there was one day, this season even, where the stars aligned! Early November, done a Sunday Acca, Spurs v Palace, City v Arsenal, Chelsea v United, Everton v Watford. I only remember because it was the reverse fixtures the other weekend! Who was I wasting on for a few hundred - the one team who you know you can’t rely on.

Now there ain’t many home games I can remember us coming back from two down at home and winning — well 94 and that one probably meant more in every sense - so to see us slot a penalty injury time & to then see them miss one — probably my best tale of betting and seeing a return. Plenty that have gone the other way, and early too, because I could never bet against us and probably wonder why I even put them in a coupon most times. But that Sunday, I was singing the Blues all right, all down County Road.

Had a few quid on etoo signing thanks to a good tip. Gutted I never put the mortgage on it. Also refused to acknowledge Rom was signing on a perm after his loan - despite it being a cert too.

We played hull in 2014 midweek near Christmas I think it was nil nil and an awful game . My brother was waiting on Everton for £500 which isn’t a particular big win for him as he’s a pretty bad gambler. He took this result that hard though that he got a refund on his season ticket the next day . He still fumes over it now .

I've never bet on us in the past, but work has one of those last man standing competitions starting this weekend. Gone for us. At least Fat Scam will get the boot if it does go tits up - win/win.
