Betting Odds/Managerial Market

I don't think I ever remember a time where betting odds were used so heavily as an indicator for our next manager.

So so many of the shouts about who is nailed on for the job are based on odds that have shortened rapidly, and then moved away just as quickly. I think we all need to learn that using those odds as a serious indicator is futile.

It seems that they are also used as a substitute for common sense, I mean Simeone and Ancelotti have both been linked and whilst common sense suggests neither would touch the job, odds are used to suggest there might be something in it. Indeed the opposite applies, O'Neill and Unsworth are 2 of the current favourites, yet I don't think there's a chance either of those are getting it, yet whilst their odds are still short some will still think it's happening.

Please stop this madness, each time you quote Everton managerial odds we're going to be forced to make you listen to Phil Neville on a continuous loop for 48 hours.

...bit of money for Silva in the betting markets in the last hour or so.

Keep an eye on the exchanges for Simeone. Been told that his price is going to massively shorten very soon.

lol nice GIF. Well he has just dropped from 70's to 18's

Key thing is 'Last Price Matched' lads. And that's 55 and has been for days.

Like Allardyce, is price is only 3.3 right now!! Oh no!! .... except the last price matched was 7.8 a while ago.

No one - including the Board, sadly - has any idea who the next Everton boss will be.

Have you stuck a tenner on him then

Exactly. Just trying to prove a point that on the exchanges, in a market with such disparages in the prices as this one, that when someone sees an outlaying spike in the price and takes it i.e. in this case me, it affects the 'current odds' massively

The management market is very small. Only a small amount of money can change the odds.
Pretty sure there were folk on here "pumping and dumping" for the exchanges. Basically putting a bet on someone with long odds, coming on the forum spouting ITK about the same manager, and then cashing out / laying that same manager.
