Better Call Saul

Dunno, I'm not sure if Saul can be made into a lead character either, but the writing team is so strong I can't see it being terrible.

Almost certainly not as good as Breaking Bad, but there's an absolute ocean of difference between that and terrible.

I hope this is the case, I personally think it will be decent. I cant see it being anywhere near as good as BB but its head and shoulders above anything else that it cant really compare anyway.

Walt never originally wanted to be a drug lord. He saw that Jessie was making a packet from selling meth and wanted to raise cash to pay for his treatment and look after his family. It was only as it snowballed that he slid down the slope. That is what needed to be gradually developed over the first 2 series.
It didnt though, it was basically him fumbling about trying to get a foothold there and coming across fake dealers, crazy dealers, not interested dealers etc

I think it was more to do with Walt wanting to make some money then after hitting these obsticals he started to be able to control his surroundings. Obviously not everyhting went according to plan but when he got there by season 3 and he was faced with the choice at the end he saw what was ahead of him and wanted it. so the little idea went round in his head until he was finally given the oppertunity to go ahead and sieze what he could see and from that point on he became everyhting he wasnt at the very start of the program. Once it slipped away from him then he knew he had to have that power one more time before the end
