Ahh, some of my best memories where editing the autoexec.bat and config.sys files to try and get enough base memory free to play games. Upgrading from a 8088 to a 286SX to a 386SX to a 386DX then DX2, then finally a 486 and the magnificent P100!!!!

Back in those days are my best 'gaming' memories. Of course I don't have time for games anymore, with 4 kids bouncing off the walls. I can only play the violent mature games (read the Fallout/GTA/Mass Effect/Assasins Creed at night so they cant watch and end up with nightmares (my eldest, a few months ago dreamed Spartans (the Halo ones, not the greek ones) were after him.)

I'd imagine kids are more rewarding than games though, haha.

Although blasting space marines in the head sounds more fun than wiping a baby's arse.

I think it depends on what platform you are playing on!! This year Red Dead redemption was the best game on console(PS3,XBOX) in my humble opinion, but i have also enjoyed FIFA11 "the best one they have made in years", Black ops "although i feel that Modern warfare 1&2 are better" and i have just aquired Gran Turismo for the playstation and that is looking quite good from what i have played so far, although again i think it will have to be very special to beat Forza on the XBOX. PC wise for me it has to be Starcraft 2 "what a game" and i think PC gaming is the best platform because you have so much more diversity, with Oblivion being a prime example, you can get so many more add-ons and Mods that you just do not get on console.. but as i said that is just my humble opinion..:)
