Best (worst) cheat

What do feel is the most arch example of cheating in the history of football.

Maradona 86 always spring to mind. Henry vs Ireland is a good modern example too. Suarez's handball v Ghana (?), unsporting rather than cheating per se, and I defy anyone to say they wouldn't do the same in the circumstances.

Any other good examples? Feel free to post vids like I haven't.

Long story, but essentially at the onset of WWI Arsenal were 5th in Division 2. After the war, the Football League decided to increase the number of teams in Division 1 from 20 to 22. The teams finishing 19th and 20th in Division 1 were Chelsea and Spurs, and the teams finishing third and 4th in Division 2 were Birmingham and Wolves, Arsenal in 5th.

Guess what happened? Chelsea were reprieved from relegation and Arsenal were promoted at the expense of Spurs. The reason? Bribery by a certain Sir Henry Norris...

Clattenberg. Never seen a more obvious display of corruption. I m too young to remember Thomas but ive heard the stories

Clive Thomas, Collina, Atkinson and Clattenberg have all, by their actions as referees, cheated Everton out of appearing in cup finals, gaining CL status and dismissing players in derbies totally unjustly.
Lance Armstrong is arguably one of the biggest sporting cheats.
