Best time and place to be alive?

So much to choose from!

as much as I want to see the pyramids being built, not sure the dentists were up to much. I’m going to take this from the common man perspective so I’m going for California 1986. Maybe it’s the films that made me choose this but it just seemedlike the best time and place. Still had some innocence and no internet to ruin everything.

Unless you were in the top 1% of the population in terms of wealth and status i doubt anytime in history is better than the modern day.

But to play the game ive always had a fondness for the USA in the 1950's. The music, the fashion. The nostagia i have for a time i never actually knew would probably be misplaced however.

Losing yourself in the hippy sex and drugs of the 60's would have been great too. I would have made an excellent flower person.

Edwardian England (so long as I had enough cash). The style, quality and sophistication, the excitement of new motor vehicles and technology such as electric lights, the gramophone, even the wireless. Mahogany, chrome, brass and bakelite everywhere before humanity had stripped the planet bare with mechanization and replaced it with pollution and plastics.

Also the cricket and togger was good. Dixie et al.

Just ww2 on the horizon and the inevitable long term victory by the Germans in Europe to ruin it all, in hindsight.
