Bruce Wayne

Player Valuation: £100m
With Sam Byrne signed up and the young Belgian wonderkid Henen on the cards, the BBC are pondering who the best strikeforce in history has been (ok, it's because James has signed for Real ffs).

Who would make yours?

Dont know about best ever but probably the best one i have seen at Spurs was Chivers & Gilzean

Too young for Bobby Smith & Jimmy Greaves.

Hard to look past Real when they had an attacking W of:

Gento, Puskas, Di Stefano, Rial and Kopa.

Having 5 is a bit greedy like.

Aye, that had stellar talents but also seemingly a balance to it. The Galacticos attacks of Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo et al never really managed that, and you suspect neither do the front threes of Barca or Real at the moment.

In terms of attacking units I think Rivaldo, Kluivert, Figo or Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi are better than either of the current ones as they worked so well together.

Hard to choose to be honest

Shearer and Sutton would have been if they'd stayed together longer than a couple of years

Yorke and Cole were good for a spell, almost telepathic at times

Voeller and Klinsman

Lineker and Beardsley

I could go on
