Sparks and High Speed are my faves from that album.

Their first album in particular is superb. There's some great songs on there, although I've heard 'Yellow' so many times that I'd never choose to listen to it again. Looking back at the album 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' pales in comparison. X & Y was where it really started to go down hill. I can't even bring myself to listen to Myloto Kikoto or whatever the feck it's called.

Yeah the first album was really good ... but the latter ones really aren't bad. It's just kind of meh music with one decent single for the masses. It's just that they are so overexposed. There is WAY worse music in the world than Coldplay. I never listen to the radio though (satellite radio but the stations I listen to don't play Coldplay) so Coldplay really doesn't impact me. Might hear one in a lift once in a while but really not sure why people get so worked up about them. Do they break in people's houses at 2am and play an impromptu concert in their living room?

Oh god I'd much rather listen to Coldplay's later stuff than anything in the current Top 40, certainly. It's not bad music by any means, it's just a bit lazy and unadventurous. There's some horrendous 'music' out there these days. I hardly listen to the radio myself, but if I do and It's within range I do quite like XFM, although it is repetitive.

They are just so bland! yet people rave about them - and vote a song as the best single in the last 10 years. I don't listen to top 40 stuff, in general.
