Trivium - A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation? tremendously mainstream the selection, i went for white stripes, good tune.

should have been rihanna - umbrella (if we're not talking rock type songs) - not even sure why, just a tune that lasted so so long in the charts. when i went on holiday on turkey it had been in the charts for over a year but yet it was still played every night. was still hearing it regularly on the radio a year later and my crush was born

From that shortlist I went for There There, beautiful song, one of my favourites. Some brilliant tracks there though, I'd forgotten about quite a few of them.

When it first came out I would have agreed, thing is everyone overplayed it and ruined it for me... too much of a good thing and all that
