I'm a guys guy, guys and of course guys like sandwiches. I love them, all varieties of sandwiches are gorgeous to me, you can rarely go wrong. So obviously, when I moved to merseyside I made it a quest to find a nice sandwich place thats the dog bollocks.

I think I find out in Langtons sandwich bar. its ace. Footlongs stuff with gorgeousness, unlike those portion control nazis at subway pffftt.

Anyone know better in the city?

it's hard to beat Pumpernickles on the corner of Rodney St and Mount Pleasant. Literally hundreds of options of bread and filling combos. Well worth a visit

There used to be a little shop just off Hamilton Square in Birkenhead when I was a kid, same street as Seeds. They did binlids, which are huge, and were pretty cheap iirc. Haven't been for at least 12 years so probably not there anymore.

Langtons on Clarence Street is where I go. They've even got a portrait of Frank Zappa in there so are obviously great.

Also, The Hole In The Wall on School Lane is excellent.

Crumbs on Dale street are nice. Get a Turkey, Chicken, Bacon, Stuffing, Cranberry, Lettuce, Mayonnaise sandwich - cant go wrong
