Played against Robbie Dunn too, about 15 or so years ago in the mitre cup. He was playing for Fremantle city.......he'd be getting on a bit now wouldn't he WA Toffee?

He'll be about 50 now, still a great player though. Amazing touch, but not too keen on the running part, even I could keep up with him.

I also used to play with John McGinley (Bolton) and Duncan Shearer (Blackburn, Aberdeen) in my younger days. They were a few years older and never really looked that good, very surprised both of them went on to play for Scotland.
McGinley ruined my brothers chance of a career, they were playing against each other and scouts had come up from Rangers, Celtic and a couple of top Premier league teams (Div 1 as it was a the time) to watch my brother, but within 5 minutes he jumped into my brothers back and he ended up with 3 slipped discs and his chance was gone. He could have been the Leighton Baines of the 80s

Oh and a family friend is captain of the Liverpool U16s now - played with and against him in kick abouts.

Recently played indoor against former MLS players Steve Ralston (NE Revolution) and Dom Kinnear (Houston Dynamo manager, ex USMNT).

Played against a few ex MLS players in the HFA (Houston Football Association - Premier League level) back in the day but none that were household names.
