Best player you have ever seen.

Sadly I haven't watched many, if any, big games here...

I've seen Tim Wiese, Torsten Frings and Mesut Ozil (who had just transferred to Werder 6 months before that and still hadn't made such a name for himself. He was still good though).

Ball, his 2nd or 3rd game, the day he played the RS on his own, or so it seemed.
Best, he was as good as Pele, but with **** for brains...it's better to burn out than fade away ( debatable ), well in his case walk away and then regret it and let Rodney Marsh talk you back to play for Fulham I can still remember seeing him at 37 or 8 rip Emlyn a new one.

Zidane ... Malta vs France some years back when France were the dream team . the likes of Henry , Veira ,Desailly , Makelele and Thuram also played in that match

Iniesta/Xavi playing for Spain v Ireland, pleasure to watch.

And special mention to Glen Little playing for Glentoran on many occasions, unbelievable.

Saw Bergkamp get a hat-trick against LcFc down at the old Filbert Street - Sheer Class

I think he scored a very similar hat trick in the world cup also

Duncan McKenzie at the local sports club (whilst an Everton player), in those days the pro's would take part in fund raisers for the clubs in their areas.

Tbh he just took the pish as I remember.

I travelled to Barcelona last year with a few mates and bought a ticket outside for the El Clasico semi final of the champions league which finished 1-1. Pedro and marcelo scored with both sides fielding very strong sides. I'm unlikely to see better than that in my lifetime surely. €100 well spent!
