Best place to go for a break

Leaving my job on Friday and was thinking about going on a little for 4 days or so break. I was thinking about Amsterdam or somewhere maybe in Italy/France? Might go when a Football game is on as well just to watch one.

Anyone recommend anywhere?

Tom Huddlestone's house. He's very welcoming.

If you're lucky he will have baked fresh cookies, he's good like that.

And his missus usually has her foof out to help grease the baking trays, he doesnt believe in non-stick equipment.

Barton-on-Humber, the best thing about it is that it has a toll bridge and huge great river between it and Hull, once there you can only get further away from the land of Grey Fern Boxes.
