Just wondering what everyone thinks was our best performance (not necessarily result) is of this decade. In date order here are my top 15 memorable mentions:
Everton 3-1 Manchester United 20th February 2010. Goals from Bilayetdinov, Gosling and Rodwell. Notable for Rodwell being given man of the match by Dion Dublin on Sky after being on the pitch for about 5 minutes.
Everton 2-0 Liverpool 17th October 2010. Goals from Cahill and Arteta in what is shockingly still our last derby win.
Everton 1-0 Manchester City 31st January 2012. Gibson screamer defeats the Champions in waiting. Notable for a protestor handcuffing himself to the goalposts during the game.
Sunderland 0-2 Everton FA Cup Quarter Final Replay 27th March 2012. After a disappointing draw at Goodison. We dominate and goals from Jelavic and an own goal from Vaughan send us to Wembley.
Everton 1-0 Manchester United 20th August 2012. Fellaini header gives us a dominant win on the opening game of Moyes last season.
Swansea 0-3 Everton 22nd September 2012. Anichebe, Mirallas and Fellaini score in a game in which we were so dominant it really could and should have been 10.
Manchester United 0-1 Everton 4th December 2013. Oviedo late winner gives us a deserved and famous win against Moyes' United.
Everton 3-0 Arsenal 6th April 2014. Naismith, Lukaku and an Arteta own goal rip apart what were our main rivals for 4th place.
Young Boys 1-4 Everton Europa Round 32 19th February 2015. Lukaku hat-trick and Coleman as we thrash our Swiss opponents in their backyard.
Everton 2-0 Chelsea FA Cup Quarter Final 12th March 2016. Lukaku double sends us to Wembley. Also notable for Bill's interview with Moshiri after the match lauding "our manager" Martinez who is sacked a month later.
Everton 4-0 Manchester City 15th January 2017. Lukaku, Mirallas, Davies and Lookman ruthlessly dispatch Guardiola's City in probably Koeman's best day as Everton manager.
Everton 6-3 Bournemouth 4th February 2017 Lukaku hits 4 and McCarthy and Barkley net as we pile on the goals.
Everton 4-0 West Ham United 29th November 2017. Rooney hat-trick and Williams despatch another Moyes team in Unsworth's last match as caretaker manager.
Everton 4-0 Manchester United 21st April 2019. Silva's greatest day as Everton manager as Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Digne and Walcott score to thrash United on a gloriously sunny Easter day.
Everton 3-1 Chelsea 7th December 2019. Duncan Ferguson lifts Everton out of the Silva gloom and an inspired Calvert-Lewin nets two after Richarlison's opener.
