During college, each summer me and my then GF and friends would work in Denali National Park at the hotels. The job itself was menial and not the point, but the overall setting, coworkers, and outdoorsey-ness of it (near 24 hours of sunlight) was what made it the best job I've ever had. You could head to the local pub between for dinner/beer and then go outside into the sunlight at 10pm and get baked and play frisbee golf. We did a lot of hiking on weekends into the vast wilderness of the park, which is the size of the state of Connecticut.
