I lived around the corner from the Corrs in Dundalk.
Im a good bit older than them but was aware of the girls when they were starting out (Jim not so much)
My wife and I were in a pizza restaurant in Donegal town about 7-8 years ago when we saw Caroline (the drummer) at another table with her hubby.
I was chatting with my wife as to whether to say hello but decided that she wouldnt have a clue who I was and left it
I went to the loo and came back and Caroline was chatting to my wife at our table, she'd come over to check if i was actually (name deleted to protect the innocent) as she remembered me well from Dundalk
so I vote for the Corrs

These are chronological compilations of Irish alternative releases (1977-1999) few if any of which troubled the charts, in other words hours of music you will not be hearing on your radio any time soon.

No please don’t get me wrong I love British rock band but just has to be connect to the Republic of Ireland... for this particular discussion.
The century of debate about where the boundary of the republic ends is not raised in the thread title. Northern Ireland is, surely, irrefutably part of the island, and so 'Irish', You didn't mention any border.
Good thread though ;)
