Looking for a week away at the end of the month maybe. Just phoned ice lolly and the £429 holiday advertised was actually £734.
They can whistle if they think I'm paying that much for a 5 star all inclusive in the Bahamas. (n)

Any other decent sites? Preferably I can book online without having to phone someone in Bangladesh who pretends his/her name is dave or tracey.

We used alpharooms. Great price, but they were a bit turd when it came to getting the details right on fight bookings etc. But their customer service team were quite helpful.

I've used Sunmaster twice. Always had a good time and they do seem considerably cheaper than other sites. You have to phone to confirm your booking (but not Bangladesh!) and I think our flights went up a little bit but not much.

I don't know if it's just me, but isn't £734 for a week in the Bahamas, 5-star all inclusive (including flights, presumably?), a pretty good deal?

Re the actual question: I don't do hot places so cannot help, sorry.

Onthebeach is good.

Also

Teletextholidays

On the beach are dearer than jet 2.

And teletext are like ice lolly. Put the prices up when you phone.

And who's idea was it to make it impossible to type l olly on here? lol

For a family of four yes. Not for me on my own.:coffee:

Sounds pretty standard to me, for 5*. We paid £1200 for family of 5 during term time in a 3* in Menorca. I'd expect double that in the holidays.

So £2800 for 5* all inclusive in the Bahamas for 4 sounds perfectly normal to me (not that I'd ever be able to afford it, like).

I have to agree. Four a family of four to go 5* all inclusive to the Bahamas for a week, including flights, I'd be expecting to pay the lion's share of £3k (during high season). More power to anyone who can get it for less than £2k, and please send me a link if that happens because I'd be snapping that up.

EDIT - would need to borrow two kids from somebody, obvs.

Booking a holiday tonight. Will let you know, usually book via Virgin
