On a serious note though I think my favourite was Davies' against City. The kneeslide, piley on and then the jump into the crowd. Add on that the goal was boss and it was a kids first goal for the club he supports. Boss.

Temur ketsbaia and I remember watching him going mental and wondering what all that was about .

Most of the best seem to have been mentioned The ronaldo and cantona type look at me I’m the greatest would always have been something I’d have loved to have been good enough to do. Sheeds giving them the V’s is definitely many a blue’s dream , that’s one thing we do have in common with them is a desire to score a winner at the kop end .

For me though for the joy of giving the kop some or the simple enjoying the adulation, the sheer joy of Tardelli will always take some beating although scoring every week it might wear off .
