Been there half a dozen times and the headliners are always great, but it's a few of the not so usual ones that stood out for me. Moby, NIN and Ladysmith Blackmambosa or however it's spelt stand out... oh and Bob Marley ('s son) and the wailers... I swear it's Bob though.

Still prefer Reading, Sonisphere or Download tbh but it used to be an amazing festival and living an hour away from it didn't hurt either :)

Thinking back the levellers were some of my best memories there. Think it was 92 on the recommendation of a mate. [Poor language removed] loved I'd despite getting badly sunburnt

I used to go a lot as a kid, 2 best (weirdest) memories watching Van Morrison (1982) with my mum, when he went off, the main stage tannoy (public address system) asked if there was a Mrs Bol-UK and her son (by first names). My mum who would have been mashed, panicked and thought someone must have died, went to the back of the Pyramid stage and it was my dad, I had not seen him for about 5 years!

Then in 1984 when I was 9 watching Ian Dury, I disappeared, my mum, almost certainly mashed again, searched everywhere and found me at the very front on some randoms shoulders dancing like a mad man! This was before Yew tree suspicions.
