Best (free) blogging sites...

I've always wanted to write a few blogs, nothing major just on stuff that interests me and I'd post a link to a few people on forums.

What's the best (free) blogging site I can sign up to?

Wordpress.com
Blogger.com

I think blogger.com is the best of the free sites, Wordpress is excellent if you want to pay for it.

It depends on the type of writing really. Tumblr is good as it's easy to tag and for people to see your blogs, whereas blogger is good for more serious stuff but the design and stuff is just awful, it's very simple.

Wordpress is the most versatile of the lot. Tumblr is the easiest. Blogger... can't recommend.
