So fresh from the news that for some ungodly reason Ben Affleck will be the Batman in the 2017 Batman and Superman flick, who in your opinion was the best Batman ever?

I'm going with Christian Bale, who I think was brilliat. However, a lot of this could be to do with the films themselves, and the style of them. Proper, proper dark films.

Bale is light years ahead of any other Batman performance, Conroy was blown of the screen by Mark Hammills brilliant joker, Keaton was okay, a little short though, and the fact his Batman films now seem a bit dated. Affleck is a good actor, but so is Clooney, some people just aren't suited to certain roles, cant see him as Batman

Because he was in Pearl Harbour.

And yes he has improved, but with Batman you need somewhat of an unknown quantity i'd say. People will go in with set thoughts on Affleck and his performance will need to turn these around. For me you just need someone to be Batman and not have to prove himself. Saldy I feel people will slate Affleck even if he's really good in the role, just because of who he is.
