Other albums that stand out for me include

DJ Sprinkles - Midtown 120 Blues

She does a lot of writing/speaking about club/dance culture and this album further emphasis that.

Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion

Probably their most complete piece of work.

Deerhunter - Cryptograms

Critically probably not their best, but considering this was recorded on two separate days, during different phases of Bradford Cox' illness. It really is brilliant.
