...not great, 2nd favourite.

I gave up betting when I couldn't find a bookies here in the bloody capital of Germany to put a tenner on a hot National tip. The blighter came in at 100/1.

I went out on a low, you could say. Probably saved a small fortune in the long run, mind lol

What’s next to the Moon? is a classic if only for getting a Casey Jones namecheck in.

Yep. Proper Bon Scott that.

His lyrics were used for a lot of Back in Black, even though Brian Johnson got the credits. Not a chance he could have come up with the stuff Bon Scott did. The lyrics for the title track were all about him having cash in the bank after Highway to Hell sold so well. Not as a tribute song to him.

Agreed.

Bon Scott - the master of the double entendres

Brian Johnson - the Kwik Fit fitter of the single entendre

Yep. Endless list of quality, even funny, stuff from Bon. Endless list of rubbish from Johnson.

edit. You can even trace his journey to success/wealth in the albums.

Its a long Way to the Top (High Voltage)

Aint no fun waiting round to be a Millionaire (Dirty Deeds)

Dog eat Dog. (Let There Be Rock)

Down payment Blues (Powerage)

Highway to Hell (Highway to Hell)

And then, to complete the trip, Back in Black. (Back in Black)

Canny lad Johnno mind. Met him a few times when he’s back in the North East. No airs, drinks in local bars and happy to talk music and cars all night.

Oh aye, he is a great bloke, and fitted in perfectly with the band. Just cant write a song like Bon could.
