The likes of Besic are exactly the kind of players that need shipping to make space for upgrades

Osman, Pienaar and Gibson are all finished. Barry has one more year. I wouldn't have thought we'll be selling Besic unless it's a very good offer and we have replacements lined up.

I see him as the natural successor to Barry as the deepest midfielder.
Has got the passing range to get the ball moving from defence to midfield and is strong at tackles and interceptions.
Don't see him developing any further forward or a box-to-box, doesn't have the attacking instincts imo.
Still got a long way to go though and staying fit would be a good start.

The fear is with the money we have at our disposal, he could be overlooked

Great talent, but needs propor game time...sadly never gets it as he often picks up little knocks
