cananyone confirm wether or not the hotdogs i bergen airport were in fact ELK-DOGS, not really arsed either way but i had 1 for supper and 1 for brekky (after kipping there), just means i can add them to my list of wildfoods tasted, they were good dogs either way !!!! and very cheap by norways standards.:toilet: and they did make a bit of a wildfood dash the day after, antlers leading the way !!!

in some scandinavian countries, when a deer/reindeer/elk/whatever is downed, it is gutted on the spot, the liver checked, and the heart eaten raw.

dont like liver so maybe thats why they tasted good, probably elk ears and arseholes.
