I heard about this briefly on the radio whilst driving back from work. Horrible stuff.

And I 100% agree with you about Twitter. I touched on this in the Gary Speed thread the other day. Some people seem to think that If it's being talked about by a lot of people then it's true.

I think people post the most shocking thing they can on there to get lots of retweets. Attention craving sickos.

Twitter is ace when uses correctly. For example, Fellaini tweeted his condolences for this horrible event.

But like most things people ruin it for others.

Heck, that happens on here when you get your Lineker's and No1's who are utter psychos. Obviously that's to a lesser extent.

Indeed. Like a schoolyard popularity contest or something. For example, you see the comments some people leave on famous folks Twitters and they often include the little desperate cry "Retweet please!" Retain some dignity will you!!
