Belgian goalkeeper saves three penalties in one match

Mechelen goalkeeper Jean-Francois Gillet saves three penalties from three different players to help his side draw 1-1 at Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.

Belgian veteran Gillet, 36, was the hero after saving spot-kicks from Dennis Praet, Stefano Okaka and Youri Tielemans.

Despite the misses, Anderlecht appeared on course for a 1-0 win until the final few seconds of injury-time, when defender Kara Mbodj scored an own goal to hand Mechelen a highly unlikely point.

Third was a decent save. First two were terrible penalties

As a teenager in the Anfield league cup final I saved 3 penalties in the match including 1 in extra time.

We still managed to go on and lose in the shoot out.
