Do you drink them, and if so, do you have a favourite.

I'm really into the Karemeliet tripel at the moment, and clearly Delirium TRemonds, but amd open to suggestions on others to try.

Oh yeah, special mention goes to St Feullien tripel aswell.

Leffe Blonde is a decent beer, a pub near me used to sell it draught, they had a machine that would chill the glass before pulling the pint, very nice but quite strong at 6.6%.

Had some lovely beers when I was out in Antwerp, forget the names now but they were all a nice high percentage.

This is the thing for me, most Belgian beers I find and try are around the 8-11% mark, but very rarely taste like it. It really quite dangerous, they hit you like a train after a fair few, but a train with Jelly bumpers.

Try something called Kasteel double. they do a triple too. but I think the double is better.
Duvel is OK and you can get that in a lot of supermarkets now.
Leffe blonde is good, has a hint of banana's I think which may sound a bit weird but it is just a hint.
St Bernardus 12ABT is bloody good too. but more than 2 and you'll be well on your way. cheapish evening though.
That delirium tremens IS good isn't it?
You can get a bottled guiness in Belgium which is 8% oh yes.

Cantillon & Drie Fonteinen; world class lambics & geuze. Most are around the 5% mark, so drinkable all day :)

Westmalle, St Bernardus, Westvleteren; great Trappist ales.

Had rarely had these until recently when a bar/pub in San Antonio was serving "sour ales." These blew my mind (esp. Leifmans Goudenband). Since then I've sampled many more, from real Belgian brews to a variety of Belgian styles made here in NA. I like Unibroue's collection, and there are several interesting American brands (Ommegang, in NY, does great work), but I've found that for all the great variety and quality of Belgian beers available, I don't like them all. Surprisingly, I no longer favor Chimay (at least compared to what else is available), but all in all there are some great beers crafted in that small land.

Duvel is good aswell. Belgiums know how to drink.

Few years back, I went to a place in London called Belgocentral, I think it was. Belgian restaurant (?) with a beer menu that spanned into hundreds of varieties. Strangely, I can't remember much about the evening.
