Alright mate. Maybe the bot, up in stranmillis (just past queens uni). Although theres a lot of big games this weekend. Most people over here are either RS or man u, so you may have trouble finding a place.

Either way spud, enjoy yourself wherever you end up. Belshafts a great night out these days.

Laverys in city centre or Big House on Ormeau Rd will usually put us on if they can, but with all the other 3 o'clock games it may be difficult to get. Dont go to Shaun's house to watch it tho its a scud!!

Looked on Laverys website said there was Norwich/Liverpool and Fulham/City on in Laverys/Pavillion and our game on in Laverys. What is the difference?

Your only real chance of watching it would be Laveries. They dont advertise all the live games cause they sometimes dont know until the day of the game if they will be able to get the signal etc.
I've seen 3 games on the go upstairs at times so it might be worth a rattle. If not the beer is good and the food is also very good!

Being from that neck of the woods myself I can honestly say I've never gotten in any bother for singing Grand Old Team whilst plastered! The average man in the street wouldn't associate it with Celtic I don't think. Not unless they are a die hard old firm supporter. Anyway enjoy! I have ironically moved from Belfast to Southampton so that is where I will be trying to watch the Southampton game!

when i go to belfast (daughter in uni) i go to laverys they have all the games . the screen will have what game is on ie loads of screens all the games are on plus rugby and horse racing the locals are very friendly, but seriously dont ask where they live eg "do you live local" as they wont tell you Belfast is a great place and i will return in october

Don't let any scare mongers put you off Belfast, sure there are still a few idiots stuck in the past but for the most part it is a fantastic city to go out in. You will be fine if you are around Laverys area - the march will be no where near it. If there is any trouble this weekend it will be in North Belfast - Laverys is South Belfast. Great bar too. Three floors, four indoor and two outdoor bars, decent beers, good drink offers, great pub grub and most importantly full of great people up for some banter. You'll definitely get to see the game in it too!
