Some of the gushing over him by football personalities on Twitter was cringeworthy tonight.

Had countless chances and f*cked them up. Used to get pissed up and kick the sh*t out of his wife. The world will be a better place when he inevitably succumbs to an early vodka and cocaine fuelled death.

Off the field, well, I read today he says he overheard 2 doctors talking about him whilst in rehab saying he'll be lucky to live much longer if he doesn't quit, then saying he's not sure if he'll stop drinking. Waste of oxygen.

I'm going to go against the grain here ..... It's an illness..... Nobody chooses to be an alcoholic.....every day for him is a constant battle...... And for him to say he might drink again is being honest and open......every day he stays clean though is a bonus.....personally I think it's tragic.
