Being corporal punished...

How many of you out there suffered this? I encountered this style of behaviour management throughout junior/secondary 'education'. Some of it horrendous looking back on it. Indeed, I am surprised certain 'disciplinarians' have never been investigated!

Sometimes Mrs Boss Blue dresses up in combat gear, ties me up and then smacks my arse with a paddle.

She likes to be called 'Major Pain' rather than 'Corporal Punishment' though.

Myself and the girlfriend are a little less extreme than that. She likes to be called 'General Discomfort'.

I struggle to understand why these adults wanted to hit children. I hope those adults are ashamed of themselves now and indeed...live in terror of being subject to an enquiry. Compensation????

We had a pump, (sneaker to our American friends) called Percy, short for persecution used by a Welsh ex rugby player. We had a cut down brush handle called Big Brother wielded by a short, bald, Hitler loving maths teacher. Oh and also the cane. I have had all three.

I wish they could still do it

Never done anybody any harm, and in the main only the deserving got punished.

I had a teacher who was known for his discipline and punishment, I felt the wrath of him many a time.(cane)
When I left I went back to see him and thank him for everything, as for me he most probably helped me realise why you have to work hard and structure has to be adhered to. He was great with me and took me into his class and introduced me to the 1st year seniors(who looked terrified) I just said work hard and don't fall foul of him, as you will pay the penalty.

He will go down as my best teacher and also an influence on my future life in work

I pity teachers now as kids have the upper hand now in how they want to behave
