Proper cycling should take place in the open air, on a country road, with a nice packed lunch attached to the pannier. The bike should have a proper wide saddle and a bell..............and a water bottle.....proper cycling......

... and the bikes should have young ladies on them with long blonde hair and button up dresses opening to reveal a little thigh ... shouldn't they ?

Is cycling even a proper sport? It boils down to whoever has took the most drugs and gets away with it.

Well quite i'd better be careful next time i take a ride otherwise i'll be up for an award,we can but hope that next years winner of this wonderfuly out of touch event is a darts player another great "sport"but i'll lay odds on it being the one person who wins a gold medal at the olympics even if the event is "dressing up and fondling each other" if its gold,theyve won.

No-one knows. There's probably been an internet campaign by middle aged blokes dressed in lycra to get other middle aged blokes dressed in lycra to vote for him.

Personally, I don't trust middle-aged blokes in lycra. If you want to wear tight fitting lycra at least have the decency to go swimming, a la Reidy.
