He gets 100% of his image rights, that was part of the deal for receiving a lower pay packet.
Plus he will probably get a few champions league appearances aswell, this is just a way of him to keep all of his sponsers on side.

He's a great guy, and a proper role model unlike most footballers.

I ****ged him off yesterday, after that transfer window I would have said Mother Teresa was overrated to be fair though, such was my frustration. Its a extremely nice gesture, regardless of tax and whatever else, not sure he had to release the statement himself, but all publicity for the cause I suppose. At the end of the day a huge sum is going to a very worthwhile cause.
