Royal Blue Jersey

Player Valuation: £35m
Between them they have 21 goals for a struggling Huddersfield this season. Notwithstanding the obvious fact there is a big step up between the divisions, by comparison Anichebe and Jelavic have 16.

Did we let those two go too early for too little?

Nope. We got good money for Beckford who was crap really and James Vaughan will sadly just get injured again. Plus they're both currently out on loan because their parent clubs don't want them.

I thought Beckford could have been a decent squad player for us, but for 2.5 million, see ya later...

Beckford was completely out of his depth in the PL and Vaughan is made of cardboard, good to see them both doing well in the Championship though.

Beckford did okay but he couldn't play the lone striker role very well and his first touch was quite poor. We got good money for him considering we picked him up for free.

Vaughan needed to get out and get games. He was always injured with us and the standard of the other players we had meant he was only going to get a run in the team if someone else got injured.

Wish Anichebe was a Championship player instead of stinking out GP every second week

Beckford was moved on because of an attitude problem

considering how poor jelavic's finishing has actually been this year, it is shocking that the difference between the two pairs is only 5 goals.

considering the level of competition, in order to have this conversation, I'd expect Beckford and Vaughan to have doubled Jelavic and Anichibe or something. 5 goals more against notably inferior competition is hardly banging them in.

Don't get me wrong, I liked both of them, but like others have said, Beckford is best suited for the lower leagues, and while Vaughan has the talent, his body and combative style of play are a guarantee for injury.

Both have suffered with injuries this season.

Beckford scored 10 in 16 starts. He's an ideal PL sub. I liked him and he was a good player. A lot better than some give credit for.
